About Me

Hi! My name is Dolly Staten. I have been in education going on 18 years. Over the years, I have worked in Memphis City Schools, Shelby County Schools, the Unified Shelby County Schools, and Bartlett City Schools. I started my career working as a Homebound teacher for grades 6-12, and since then, I have taught English, US History, World Geography, and World History and Geography.

 

I am the Academy's Teacher Ambassador for new teachers and the Honors Academy Coordinator. I have three awesome kids. One's a teacher at Collierville Middle, one is in college at UT Martin, and one attends Bartlett High School.
