Class of 2020 Seniors Giving Back and Paying It Forward

We were grateful to have six of our Class of 2020 students, current seniors, come back to the Academy on Tuesday and talk with current freshmen about the important things that they need to be thinking about now in preparation for graduation. River Allbritton, Anna Bailey, McKenna Fleshman, Anna Tilley, Patel Qaladize, and Mason Davenport each spoke with English classes all day about preparing for success. This was a senior project put together and implemented by these six Honors Academy members. This was such a great experience, we are asking for them to come back in May to talk about transitioning to BHS next fall. We are also hopeful that this will become a tradition each year - current seniors coming to speak to current freshman. Thanks to our six seniors for paying it back and paying it forward at the same time. And thanks to Honors Academy sponsor, Mrs. Tara Smith, for coordinating.
