Grades:

Homework - 10 points: ALWAYS located on deltamath.com; Students are able to see solved/color-coded examples.
Quizzes - 50 points: ALWAYS located on Edulastic; Quizzes will be 10 questions.
Tests - 100 points: ALWAYS located on Edulastic; Tests will consist of 20-25 questions.
Projects - 100+ points: Projects are done in class and consist of 3 or more grades each ranging from 50 - 200 points per part. For any project assigned, there will be a rubric, an example project, and more for students to use as a guide.

Extra Grade Opportunities:

Extra Credit: There is ONE extra credit assignment posted each quarter. Students will have 3 weeks to complete the assignment on Delta Math. 100% completion is MANDATORY in order for students to earn credit. There will be no exceptions or extensions for extra credit.
Corrections: Students can submit written/typed corrections up to 3 school days after the original quiz/test date. If a test is taken on Friday, corrections must be submitted by Wednesday 2pm. Students must follow the format below for corrections in order to earn HALF CREDIT BACK on each missed question.
- 1st: Tell what the question was asking.
- 2nd: Tell what the correct answer should have been.
- 3rd: Explain how you arrived at the correct answer.
- EXAMPLE: Question #3 asked to write an equation from the graph. Based on the graph the correct answer should have been y = -2x + 4. This is the correct answer because the y-intercept is 4 and the line moves down 2 and over 1. Negative slopes must have a negative sign in the equation.
