Grading Policy
Grade Scale:
90-100 A
80-89 B
70-79 C
60-69 D
Below 60 F
Exemption Policy: Students enrolled in a high school course having an eighty-seven (87) or higher course average who have five (5) or fewer excused absences (distance learning days do not count as an absence) may be exempt. Any unexcused absence disqualifies the student from all exam exemptions. Students in grades 9-12 may be exempt from both fall and spring semester exams.
Grading System: I use a total points grading system. Points vary depending on the assignment. A variety of methods will be used in order to determine the final grade in the class including:

Bell-work
Quizzes and Tests
Class-work
Group-work
Final Exam (20% of total grade)
