Welcome to Ms. Hicks' English 9 Class

Hey, everyone! I am looking forward to a great school year with you all. I am excited to share my love of literature and writing with you. Together, we will excel and meet our goals. My ultimate goal is to assist you in becoming stronger readers, writers, speakers, and listeners. I will challenge you to think critically, and we will work diligently together to be successful in and outside of class. I strive to create a warm, welcoming class environment for everyone. I encourage students to always ask for help and advocate for themselves. Let's make the most of this school year!

Notebook Paper
Pencils & Pens (black/blue ink only)
Headphones (that connect to your laptop)
Highlighters
Binder (dividers are optional)
If your budget permits, the class would appreciate your donations of the following items: copy paper, hand sanitizer, and Kleenex. It would be greatly appreciated.
