Katie Pennington, BHS graduate, Class of 2018, Donates her Senior Capstone Project to the Academy

Katie Pennington, BHS graduate, Class of 2018, dropped off her Senior Capstone Project at the Academy on her way to her freshman year at UT Knoxville. Katie will major in Architecture at UT, and is considering a minor in Urban Studies. Katie was in the First Class of the Academy, and was a member of the first Honors Academy cohort. Her Capstone Project is a 3' X 3' small greenhouse made with repurposed materials, including some antique glass. The capstone project fulfilled her commitment to that program. She also played on the BHS Soccer team all four years at BHS. Thanks, Katie, for sharing a bit of your BHS legacy with us.
