The Algebra IA class will be third period. We will use the CPM curriculum which entails a great deal of group work. The Algebra IA class is the essentially the first half of the standard Algebra I class. The class moves at a slower pace giving students a chance to master concepts and skills before moving to the next unit. In the 10th grade, students will take Algebra IB which is the second half of standard Algebra.

On advice from the governor of Tennessee, Bartlett schools will be out for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. However, there are still grading opportunities available. These are optional assignments, but they can increase your grade. i have opened four Deltamath assignments that cover review material from the first three quarters. check your email for more updates.

Good Morning,
The minor assignments are open on Deltamath. one major assignments is open on Socrative. The other major assignment is to use the vocabulary list to create a slide presentation on Keynote, Power Point, or Google Slides. Each slide will consist of the vocabulary word, definition, and a relevant image. A title slide should also be included. This will be a total of 18 slides.
If you opted into the grade recovery program, these assignments will replace lower grades. the minor assignments will replace daily work grades, and the major assignments will replace quizzes, tests, and project grades. if you did not opt in to the grade recovery program, this is extra practice that can prepare you for Algebra IB that you should take in the fall.
i will be hosting Zoom meeting throughout the month of May. The days and time are: Monday 9:00 to 9:30 and Wednesday 2:00 to 2:30.
